Nemer was born in Difícil Magdalena, on August 22, 1980. He obtained second place in the amateur category in 1993 and 1999 in the Leyenda Vallenata Festival.

Nemer nació en el Difícil Magdalena, el 22 de agosto de 1980.  Ocupó el segundo lugar en la Categoría de Aficionados1993, y en 1999, en el Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata.

Cristian was born in Pivijay. He lives in Barranquilla and has been playing the accordion since he was five years old. He grabbed the second place in the children's category in the Leyenda Vallenata Festival in 1994 and 1998. Although he is only 14 years old, he asked to be allowed to participate as an amateur.

Cristian nació en Pivijay, Magdalena. Vive en Barranquilla, toca acordeón desde los 5 años. En 1994 y en 1998 ocupó el segundo puesto en la categoría infantil del Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata.  A pesar de tener 14 años, pidió participar como aficionado.
